More robbery information disclosed

This is one of the suspects wanted in the early Friday morning robbery of the 7-11 store on John Marshall Highway in Linden.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office released additional information Monday about a robbery early Friday morning at the 7-Eleven store at 4697 John Marshall Highway in Linden.

The Sheriff’s Office released still photos of the suspect, who is still at large. The photos were obtained from store surveillance cameras that show the suspect during the robbery.

Sheriff Daniel McEathron also said in a written statement that investigators determined there was at least one unknown person other than the store clerk and suspect in or around the store at the time of the robbery.

The Sheriff’s Office has described the suspect as 5 feet 2 inches or 5 feet 3 inches and about 120 pounds. His clothing was reported to include a ski mask, dark blue jacket with a hood, dark colored pants with white stripes, white tennis shoes and what appeared to be light colored rubber or latex gloves.

Sheriff’s Office officials say the suspect entered the store shortly before 1 a.m. with a purse-style bag. As he held one hand in the bag, he told the clerk to give him all the money in the store. The clerk then gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who fled from the scene by unknown means.

McEathron said investigators hope another person at the scene of the robbery who may have gotten a look at the suspect will notify the Sheriff’s Office with information about the crime.

“There appeared be somebody else around during the time they watched the video,” McEathron said of those investigating the robbery. “We just want to get the message out that if anybody saw anything to let us know.”

Anyone with information about the person appearing in the store surveillance video footage is asked to call Investigator J.M. Bates at 635-7100 or 635-4128.
