Front Royal police are searching for the driver of a car that hit a pedestrian and drove away shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.
Rescue crew members treated the victim, Pamela S. Wasylk, 67, of Front Royal, for non-threatening injuries she suffered when she was hit by a car in the 1000 block of North Shenandoah Avenue. An ambulance later took her to Winchester Medical Center.
Police say witnesses described the car that hit Wasylk as a white or light colored two- or four-door sedan.
