Three arrested on drug charges

Law enforcement officials arrested and charged three people last Tuesday in Front Royal on drug-related charges after finding what authorities believe to be heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia at an apartment.

Members of the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force and Warren County Probation and Parole discovered the items at 411 E. Criser Road after appearing at the residence to speak to the occupants.

A written statement from Front Royal Police Chief Norman Shiflett said the law enforcement officials noticed “several items of contraband” inside the apartment. They obtained a search warrant, which led them to find 20 packages of heroin and one-tenth of a gram of crack cocaine.

The defendants were identified as Robert Hall Fletcher, 28, and Chelsea Jade Wines, 24, both of Front Royal, and Jeromie Delton Robinson, 29, of White Post. Fletcher and Wines were charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and Robinson was charged with possession of heroin and possession of paraphernalia. All are scheduled to appear in Warren County General District Court at 1 p.m. March 30.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with further information is asked to contact Front Royal police Detective Joshua Tanner at 635-2111.
