Stuart L. Myers, of Winchester, has been named the new chief financial officer for Randolph-Macon Academy.

Myers, the founder and CEO of Sojourn Investments LLC, was previously employed by Project HOPE in Millwood from 2002 to 2014. He began his tenure there as budget director and when he left served as senior vice president for Global Health Programs. Prior to that he served as business manager and chief administrative officer of the Dominican Republic Mission of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Myers holds a master’s degree in finance/operations research from Oklahoma State University. He is a member of the Leader to Leader Institute and the American Association of Individual Investors. He was also the former vice chairman of the board of directors of Crossroads Christian Academy in Winchester.

Aire Serv

Aire Serv franchisees Ray and Tina Bramble, of Front Royal, have been named Aire Serv’s Franchisee of the Year, as well as recipients of the International Franchise Association’s 2015 Franchisee of the Year award.

Aire Serv is a global franchise organization providing installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and indoor air quality systems.

The Aire Serv structure and a proactive sales model led the Brambles’ Aire Serv location to a successful 2015, with revenue growing by 10.5 percent year-over-year, according to a news release.

 

Walker Jones

Walker Jones PC, a law firm located in Warrenton and Washington, Va., has announced that six of its attorneys received national and regional awards.

• Susan Pierce was selected one of the 2015 Women Leaders in Law by Fortune Magazine and was chosen a Top Rated Lawyer for the Washington, D.C., area in December by The Wall Street Journal. She was named a Virginia Super Lawyer 2015.

• Robert deT. Lawrence IV was named a 2015 Top Lawyer in Estate Planning/Trusts & Wills by Northern Virginia Magazine.

• Julia S. Savage and Catherine M. Bowers were named 2015 Top Lawyers in Family Law by Northern Virginia Magazine. Savage was also chosen a D.C. Metropolitan Area Top Divorce Lawyer by Washingtonian Magazine from 2009 to present and a Virginia Super Lawyer 2015. Savage has more than 30 years of legal experience.  Bowers received the 2015 Client Distinction Award from Martindale-Hubble.

• Powell Lawson Duggan and Mark F. Hyson were chosen 2015 Top Lawyers in Real Estate Law by Northern Virginia Magazine.

 

Waller Real Estate

Beth Medved Waller, principal broker of Team Waller Real Estate in Front Royal, has announced that Jim Eastham has been chosen to spearhead its new commercial division.

Born and raised in Front Royal, Eastham attended Warren County schools, graduated from Woodberry Forest School, Washington and Lee University and the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia. He served two terms as mayor of the Front Royal and as chairman of Warren Memorial Hospital, Warren Memorial Hospital Foundation, Front Royal Planning Commission and the Chamber of Commerce.

After 30-plus years of banking and financial management, he currently serves on the boards of the Economic Development Authority, Chamber of Commerce and as president of the Rotary Club of Front Royal.
