Southern States
The Southern States Front Royal Cooperative will hold its annual membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the North Warren Volunteer Fire & Rescue Station, 89 Rockland Road, Front Royal.

The Cooperative’s management will use the meeting to report on both local and company-wide operations, as well as projected budget results for next year. Local board members will be elected and retiring board members will be recognized.

Nominees for the board include Elizabeth M. (Betsy) Crenshaw, Samuel R. Grant and Scott Sawyer.

Marketing campaign
Mikula-Harris, an advertising agency based in Vinton, has been selected to create a regional marketing campaign by Shenandoah Valley marketing organizations to increase tourism in the Shenandoah Valley, according to a news release from Jenna French, director of tourism and marketing for Shenandoah County.

The campaign is being funded by the Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitor Bureau, Shenandoah County Tourism, Luray-Page County Economic Development & Tourism , Front Royal/ Warren County Visitors Center, Harrisonburg Tourism and Visitor Services, Rockingham County Economic Development and Tourism, Staunton Convention and Visitors Bureau, Waynesboro Economic Development and Tourism, Augusta County Economic Development and Tourism, and Lexington and the Rockbridge Area Tourism.
