Search ongoing for missing elderly woman

Multiple agencies and volunteers are on the lookout for an 85-year-old woman declared missing near Lake Frederick.

A release from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office states that deputies responded to a call about a missing elderly person, Peggy “Peg” Sinclair, at the 200 block of Grebe Road at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The release states that Sinclair’s family said she was last seen around 2 a.m. Saturday wearing a blue dress, white shirt, dark-colored sunglasses and a tennis style cap.

The release describes Sinclair as a 5-foot-4-inch, 110-pound white female with brown eyes and gray hair. A blue walker that Sinclair used was found in ohe 4100 block of U.S. Route 522.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is using “all efforts and resources available” to locate Sinclair, working with multiple agencies, volunteers and aerial units, as well as using K9 units and ATVs.
