Woodstock Town Council to set public hearing dates

The Woodstock Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. today for its monthly meeting.

Council plans to schedule two public hearings.

Angela Clem, town manager of Woodstock, said a joint public hearing between the Planning Commission and Town Council for a rezoning application will be scheduled. The meeting is expected to take place at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 4.

Another public hearing will be scheduled for the issuance of a general obligation bond whereby the proceeds go toward the funding of the downtown parking lot project. The meeting is expected to take place at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 4.

Council members will also hear special reports from the Woodstock Enhancement Committee, Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission and the Rails to Trails Committee.
