Search for new deputy town manager continues

The Town of Woodstock is reviewing applicants for the open deputy town manager position.

The need to fill this position was a result of Angela Clem’s promotion to town manager Aug. 1.

Town Manager Angela Clem said 26 people have applied for the position and she anticipates setting up interviews with applicants soon.

“I hope to have an individual selected by mid-October,” she added.

She said the ideal candidate will support the management team and assist staff in various day-to-day operations and will also have a long-term vision for the future of the town of Woodstock.

The final decision will be made by a small interview committee.

Clem said the anticipated hiring salary range for the position is $66,592 to $85,000.

Applications for the position were due to the Town Office by Sept. 15.
