The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspects believed to have stolen around $10,000 worth of iPhones from Wal-Mart last week.

A news release from Warren County Sheriff Daniel T. McEathron states that deputies responded to the Wal-Mart at 10 Riverton Commons Drive on Thursday. The store had reported a larceny that occurred at around 1:30 a.m. Sept. 21.

Wal-Mart Asset Protection and sheriff’s deputies determined that the suspects had stolen 17 Apple iPhones valued at a total of around $10,000, the release states. Store video shows the two suspects and the suspects’ vehicle, which appears to be burgundy or maroon.

Lt. Gordon Foster said the suspects removed the iPhones from a locked storage cabinet and that employees noted that the phones were missing while taking counts of high dollar items.

“Right now we’re just trying to get the public’s assistance in identities for the subjects and the vehicle,” he said.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office requests that anyone with information about the incident contact Foster at 540-635-4128 or 540-635-7100.
