Man indicted in home invasion case
A Shenandoah County grand jury has indicted a second man in a home invasion on Lora Street in Woodstock.
The jury indicted Drago Lee Lockhart, 22, on two counts of a burglary that he is alleged to have committed Oct. 27.
The co-defendant in the case, Thomas Henry Caison, 19, was indicted on similar charges in January.
All the offenses trace back to an incident in which the two suspects allegedly snuck into a home through a first-floor window. The homeowners caught the two in the act and called the Woodstock Police Department just before 6:30 a.m., according to the criminal complaint.
Upon investigation, officers determined several homes had been broken into that same night.
Lockhart is facing two counts of burglary, one count of the destruction of property, and one count of petit larceny.
Lockhart is scheduled to appear in Shenandoah County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. April 12.
Caison has a trial scheduled for his charges from the same incident at 9 a.m. March 31.
