Wednesday, May 14, 2008 Page County firm to create 96 jobsLURAY Premier Technical Services Corp. will invest $16.5 million in a new continuity-of-operations and data center facility in Page County, the governor's office announced Tuesday. The facility will be certified in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and support state, local and federal agencies and commercial customers, according to a press release. The project will create 96 jobs. In a statement, Gov. Timothy M. Kaine says Premier Technical Services is the first major technology facility to locate in Page County, and will pay more than twice the county's average prevailing wage. A disabled veteran-owned firm with headquarters in Luray, Premier incorporated in Virginia in 1989. Its client list includes federal, state and local governments, commercial enterprises, prime contractors, trade associations, nonprofits and the U.S. military. Daily Staff Report |
