Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

April 26: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle and removed the keys on Rittenour Road, Edinburg.

May 12: A 16 year old was arrested on two counts of shoplifting. Court date was May 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 12: A 15 year old was arrested on two counts of shoplifting. Court date was May 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 12: A 14 year old was arrested on two counts of shoplifting. Court date was May 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 13: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a building, causing damage and removed a lawnmower and copper kettle on Smith Creek Road, New Market.

May 14: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle and removed a battery on Burke Hill Road, Maurertown.

May 15: Mitchell Hagger Butler, of Strasburg, was arrested on three counts of distributing a controlled substance. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 17: Terry Wayne Siford, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was arrested on 10 counts of burglary, six counts of larceny, four counts of robbery, three counts of stolen property with intent to sell, four counts of destruction of property, one count of entering a vehicle set in motion and three counts of wearing a mask in certain places. Court dates are pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court and Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 17: James John Rastatter II, of Woodstock, was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 17: A larceny was reported. Someone removed yard signs on Old Valley Pike/Tea Berry Road, Maurertown.

May 17: Natasha Holliday Kingree, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. June 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 18: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a firearm from a residence on Senedo Road, Woodstock.

May 18: Samual Jacob Homer, of Edinburg, was arrested on three counts of aggravated malicious wounding. Court dates are 9 a.m. May 25 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court and 9 a.m. May 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 18: An attempted breaking and entering was reported. Someone attempted to enter a residence causing damage on Roundhill Road, Mount Jackson.

May 19: Jose Ignacio Martinez, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of distribution of marijuana and drug sale near school property. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

May 19: William Carlton Duncan Jr., of Toms Brook, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. June 29 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 20: Joshua Allen Sherman, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. June 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 20: Becky Lynn Smoot, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of violating a protective order and appearing drunk in public. Court dates are 9 a.m. June 8 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court and 11 a.m. June 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 21: Keith Allen Markley, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and preventing the summoning of law enforcement. Court date is 9 a.m. June 22 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 21: Travis Franklin Lichliter, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. June 8 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

May 22: James Norman Pedigo, of New Market, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana. Court date is 9 a.m. June 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
