Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

May 21: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage and removed two heaters and a DVD player on Zion Church Road, Maurertown.

May 22: Phillip Samuel Hyre, of Stanley, was arrested on charges of having stolen property, larceny with intent to sell and conspiracy to commit larceny. Court date is 9 a.m. June 9 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 22: A larceny was reported. Someone entered two vehicles and removed prescription medication, U.S. coins and three pocket knives on Jackson Street, Edinburg.

May 22: A larceny was reported. Someone removed boards and a saw from a business on Estep Lane, Edinburg.

May 26: A larceny was reported. Someone removed two chainsaws from a building on Fort Valley Road, Fort Valley.

May 26: Trevor Madison Kerns, of Maurertown, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. July 14 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 26: Argustus Taft II, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana. Court date is 9 a.m. July 28 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 27: Joshua Michael Burke, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of possession of heroin. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 27: Zayas Cruz Yoamandy, of Naples, Florida, was arrested on charges of destruction of property. Court date is 11 a.m. June 23 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

May 28: A larceny was reported. Someone removed diesel fuel from a truck on Mt. Olive Road, Toms Brook.

May 29: Jeffrey Allen Jenkins, of Toms Brook, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. June 8 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
