Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

June 27: A larceny was reported. Someone removed work zone signs on Zion Church and Headley roads, Maurertown.

July 8: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged vehicle windows on Maple Lane, Edinburg.

July 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a license plate from a vehicle on South Main Street, Edinburg.

July 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a credit card and U.S. currency on Mt. Olive Road, Toms Brook.

July 14: A larceny was reported. Someone removed two game cameras on Lutz Hollow Road, Mount Jackson.

July 15: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a camper causing damage to a window and removed miscellaneous items on Fort Valley Road, Fort Valley.

July 17: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle tire on South Main Street, Edinburg.

July 17: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged two windows at a residence on Old Valley Pike, Edinburg.

July 19: Omar Gonzalez-Ramos, of Strasburg, was arrested on charges of distribution of heroin and conspiring to distribute heroin. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

July 19: Bryan S. Romero, of Winchester, was arrested on charges of distribution of cocaine and conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

July 19: Jeffery Dewayne Johnson Jr., of New Market, was arrested on charges of destruction of property. Court date is 2 p.m. Aug. 18 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 20: Edward Lee Grogg, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of assault. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 3 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 20: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a Chihuahua dog on Old Valley Pike, Woodstock.

July 21: Katelynn Ann Mantz, of Woodstock, was charged for possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 22: A larceny was reported. Someone removed U.S. currency from a residence on Hottel Road, Woodstock.

July 23: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a grill and landscaping lights from a residence on Brawley Lane, Basye.

July 23: Stephen Michael Jenkins, of Toms Brook, was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. Aug. 18 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
