Police blotter: Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

June 24: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a debit card on Shopping Center Road, Strasburg.

July 3: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Little Sorrel Drive, Strasburg.

July 4: Joshua Alan Mark Kirby, of Fort Valley, was arrested on charges of strangulation, assault and battery and trespassing. Court date is 10 a.m. July 28 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 4: A 14-year-old female was arrested on charges of felonious domestic assault and assault and battery. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 5: Joshua James Schmidt, of Front Royal, was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon (second-plus offense), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and transportation of a firearm. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

July 5: Nancy Ellen Jinkins, of New Market, was arrested on charges of 10 counts of animal cruelty. Court date is 11 a.m. July 21 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 5: Miguel Omar De Jesus Perez, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Aug. 17 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 5: Julie Anna Mauk, of Toms Brook, was arrested on charges of public intoxication. Court date is 11 a.m. July 14 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

July 6: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a firearm from a vehicle on South Hollingsworth Road, Woodstock.

July 7: A 16 year old was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual battery. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 7: Jeremy Todd Miller, of Maurertown, was arrested on charges of distribution of a Schedule I/II drug. Court date is 11 a.m. July 14 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 9: Brandon Michael Sizemore, of Toms Brook, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. July 27 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

July 9: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Maurertown Mill Road, Maurertown.
