Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

July 20: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a CB radio, car radio and fire extinguisher on South Main Street, Toms Brook.

Aug. 5: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a building causing damage and removed a lawnmower and electrical box on South Maple Road, Mount Jackson.

Aug. 7: Tara Lynn Blizzard, of Mineral, West Virginia, was arrested on charges of two counts of larceny (third-plus offense). Court date is pending in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 7: Melissa Kay Taylor, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of larceny (third-plus offense). Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 8: A 14 year old was charged with destruction of property. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 28 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 8: A 13 year old and 16 year old were charged with destruction of property. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 14 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 10: Jessie Benjamin Ballengee, of New Market, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 10: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a residence on Old Valley Pike, Edinburg.

Aug. 11: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a trailer registration on Senedo Road, Edinburg.

Aug. 11: David Elliott Streett, of New Market, was arrested on charges of assault. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 14 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 12: Siera Asucena Vierya, of New Market, was charged with two counts of animal cruelty, one count of failure to provide adequate space and one count of failure to provide adequate veterinarian care. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 12: Tenda Armel, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of public intoxication. Court date is 2 p.m. Sept. 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 12: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a chainsaw, welder, two license plates and a vehicle on Swartz Road, Woodstock.

Aug. 12: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a weed eater on Country Brook Road, Toms Brook.

Aug. 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a vehicle on Pine Grove Road, Strasburg. The vehicle was recovered.

Aug. 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a rifle from a residence on Red Bud Road, Strasburg.
