Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Aug. 16: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage to a door and removing U.S. currency, U.S. coins, a vase and prescription medication from a residence on Sheetz Mill Road, Woodstock.

Aug. 17: A larceny was reported. Someone removed books from a residence on Tea Berry Road, Maurertown.

Aug. 28: James David Whitacre, of Strasburg, was charged with domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 7 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 31: Jonathan Wolfe, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of two counts of larceny. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Aug. 31: David Joseph Buffington, of Basye, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and obstructing justice. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Aug. 31: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a cell phone on Fairground Road, Woodstock.

Sept. 1: Amandeep Singh, of Leesburg, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and drinking while driving with an open container. Court date is 2 p.m. Oct. 13 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 3: A 17 year old was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date is 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Sept. 4: Mark Hunter Fultz, of Maurertown, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Court date is 11 a.m. Oct. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 4: Justin Lee Marston, of Woodstock, was charged with violating a protective order. Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 19 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Sept. 4: Robert Lee Spiker Jr., of Maurertown, was arrested on charges of appearing drunk in public. Court date is 11 a.m. Nov. 17 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
