Police blotter: Shenandoah County
The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
Sept. 1: A 16-year old was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 11:15 a.m. Oct. 12 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
Sept. 5: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered two vehicles, causing damage, and removed batteries on Greenwalt Road, Maurertown.
Sept. 7: Cynthia Kaye Abutaa, of Middletown, was arrested on charges of grand larceny, grand larceny of a motor vehicle and obtaining money by false pretenses. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
Sept. 8: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a galvanized tub from a residence on Smith Creek Road, New Market.
Sept. 9: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence, removing household miscellaneous items on Jerome Road, Edinburg.
