Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Sept. 12: A larceny was reported. Someone removed an equipment trailer from property on Harman Road, Maurertown.

Sept. 12: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged an alfalfa field on Burke Hill Road, Maurertown.

Sept. 13: Hirving Ayala, of Mount Jackson, was arrested on charges of child endangerment, child abuse/neglect, domestic assault and battery, malicious wounding and failure to secure medical attention for a child. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 28 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Sept. 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed two saws from a residence on Run Away Lane, New Market.

Sept. 13: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a residence on Saint Luke Road, Woodstock.

Sept. 14: April Dawn Rhoades, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated. Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 20 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 16: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a business causing damage and removed several handguns on Old Valley Pike, Toms Brook.

Sept. 17: Wesley Adam Lear, of Mount Jackson, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, strangulation, abduction, malicious wounding and escape. Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 19 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
