Police blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Oct. 6: A larceny was reported. Someone removed car parts and tools from a business on Mt. Hebron Road, Toms Brook.

Oct. 14: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence causing damage on Cedar Creek Road, Star Tannery.

Oct. 14: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a crossbow from a business on Zepp Road, Maurertown.

Oct. 16: A 15-year old was arrested on charges of assault and battery. Court date is 11:15 a.m. Dec. 14 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Oct. 17: Philip Houston Moore, of Maurertown, was arrested on charges of violating a protective order, obstruction of justice and with making annoying telephone calls. Court dates are 9 a.m. Nov. 9 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court and 2 p.m. Nov. 17 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 18: A 17-year old juvenile was charged with possession of child pornography. Court date is 11:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Oct. 18: Travis Lee Poff, of Strasburg, was charged with reckless handling of a firearm. Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 27 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Oct. 18: A 16-year old was charged with destruction of property. Court date is 3:15 p.m. Oct. 24 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Oct. 18: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence on North Main Street, Edinburg.

Oct. 20: Ryan Lee Lafollette, of Fort Valley, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Nov. 30 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Oct. 21: A 14-year old was charged with domestic assault and battery. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
