Police Blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Nov. 13: A larceny was reported. Someone removed U.S. currency, a phone charger and two knives from a vehicle on St. David’s Church Road, Fort Valley.

Nov. 14: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a flashlight and phone charger from a vehicle on Woodstock Tower Road, Fort Valley.

Nov. 14: A larceny was reported. Someone removed prescription medication from a residence on Old Valley Pike, Strasburg.

Nov. 19: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed  video games and sneakers on Battlefield Road, Strasburg.

Nov. 22: A larceny was reported. Someone entered a vehicle and removed a firearm, wallet, credit cards, bank check and child’s car seat on Saint David’s Church Road, Fort Valley.

Nov. 22: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Piccadilly Street, Edinburg.

Nov. 22: A larceny was reported. Someone removed U.S. currency from a vehicle on Edinburg Gap Road, Edinburg.

Nov. 24: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a building,  caused damage and removed miscellaneous items and water on Old Valley Pike, New Market.

Nov. 27: Thomas Edward Arthur, of Toms Brook, was arrested on charges of felony strangulation, destruction of property, domestic assault and battery and obstructing communication to prevent help. Court date is 9 a.m. Dec. 7 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Nov. 27: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence and caused  damage on Walkers Chapel Lane, Mount Jackson.

Nov. 28: Billyjo Lorenzo Maldonado Collins, of Mount Jackson, was arrested on charges of writing a bad check. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Nov. 28: Devon Barret Galloway and Forrest Albert McClanahan, both of Front Royal, were arrested on charges of grand larceny and breaking and entering. Court date is 2 p.m. Dec. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Nov. 29: Sherwood Maurice Brown, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of malicious wounding. Court date is 2 p.m. Dec. 8 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Nov. 29: Aaron Melvin Gilson, of Mount Jackson, was charged with illegal dumping. Court date is 2 p.m. Dec. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Nov. 29: Damion Ray Keller, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and malicious wounding. Court date is 9 a.m. Dec. 7 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Nov. 29: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a moped on Red Bud Road/John Marshall Highway, Strasburg.

Nov. 29: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a tree stand and several signs from a residence on Forest View Road, Woodstock.

Nov. 30: Ricky Lee Neff, of New Market, was charged with illegal dumping. Court date is 2 p.m. Dec. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Nov. 30: Samuel Phillip Dempsey, of Middletown, was charged with making a false statement to law enforcement. Court date is 2 p.m. Dec. 15 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Nov. 30: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a dirt bike from a building on Back Road, Maurertown.

Dec. 2: Shawn S. Teachout II, of Maurertown, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated. Court date is 9 a.m. Jan. 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
