Police Blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Nov. 16: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a hunting knife and muzzleloader from a vehicle on Saint David’s Church Road, Fort Valley.

Nov. 22: A larceny was reported. Someone removed ammunition and other items from a vehicle and damaged it on Edinburg Gap Road, Edinburg.

Nov. 28: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a sign on Ram Drive, Strasburg.

Dec. 4: Katie M. Padgett, of Strasburg, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Dec. 4: Charles Dewey Cubbage, of Stanley, was arrested on charges of obtaining money by false pretenses and writing a bad check. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Dec. 4: A breaking and entering was reported. Someone entered a residence and removed prescription medication on Orkney Grade, Basye.

Dec. 5: Richard Allen Mayhew, of Kearneysville, West Virginia, was arrested on charges of interfering with the property rights of another. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Dec. 5: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged vehicle tires on Jessica Place, Toms Brook.

Dec. 7: Leon Guy Kerns, of Front Royal, was arrested on charges of possession of a Schedule I/II drug (oxycodone). Court date is 9 a.m. Jan. 26 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Dec. 8: Bruce Myron Wilson II, of Woodstock, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Dec. 14 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Dec. 9: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a residence on Mount Clifton Church Lane, Mount Jackson.

Dec. 10: Megan De’An Whittington, of Edinburg, was arrested on charges of public intoxication. Court date is 11 a.m. Jan. 19 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
