WINCHESTER — A city man is accused of numerous counts of possession child pornography, according to indictments handed down by a Frederick County Circuit Court grand jury.

John Edward Venskoske Jr., 47, of 140 Myers Lane, Winchester, was indicted earlier this month on 14 counts of possession of child pornography. The sex crimes occurred on Dec. 18, the indictment reads.

The grand jury also indicted:

* Cyran Kenya Liggins, 28, of 206 Josephine St., Berryville, on one count of possession of phencyclidine on Jan. 31.

* Darren Edward Jenkins, 42, of 233 Mineral St., Middletown, on one count of grand larceny on May 21.

* Patrick Brian Goodman, 19, of 119 Woody's Place, Winchester, on one count each of check forgery and passing a bad check on May 19.

* Howard Ahring Zimmerman Jr., 27, of 2523 Gravel Springs Road, Star Tannery, on one count of making a false statement on a required consent form for the purchase of a firearm from a dealer on May 17.

* Robert Foster Delauter, 38, of 721 S. Loudoun St., Winchester, on one count each of attempted rape and breaking and entering a dwelling house on June 6.

* Joseph Lee Bowers, 40, of 76 Laurel Hill Way, Strasburg, on one count each of grand larceny and felony shoplifting on June 4.

* Michael Ray Ashley, 44, of 138 Brigstock Drive, Apt. 8, Winchester, on one count each of driving a motor vehicle after having been declared an habitual offender, a second offense, and driving while under the influence, a second offense within 10 years, on March 24.

* Teenya Bennett-Tauzin, 28, of 771 W. Parkins Mill Road, Winchester, on two counts of identity fraud between Jan. 16 and April 26.

* Arthur Vaughn Stickles, 51, of 55 W. Pall Mall St., Winchester, on one count of driving while under the influence, a third offense within 10 years, on April 19.

* Victor Antonio Vega, 26, of 74 Moreland Drive, Winchester, on one count each of driving while under the influence, a third offense within five years; driving while consuming an alcoholic beverage; and driving on a revoked license on June 9.

* James Marvin Puffinburger, 50, of 149-12 Stephenson Road, Stephenson, on one count each of driving while under the influence, a third offense within five years, and operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked on May 21.

* Domingo Lopez-Perez, 25, of 113-11 Brigstock Drive, Winchester, on one count each of driving under the influence and driving a motor vehicle while his license was revoked on May 10.

* Melchor Arellano, 31, of 112 Martin Drive, Winchester, on one count each of possession of cocaine and distributing cocaine on May 20.

* James Milton-Schoffstall Jr., 40, of 2945 Valley Ave., Winchester, on one count of operating a motor vehicle after being declared a habitual offender, a second offense, on May 27.

* Salvador Jimenez-Garcia, 20, of 144 Pittmac Court, Martinsburg, W.Va., on one count each of distributing cocaine and possession of cocaine between May 6 and 7.

* Jennifer Anne Schech, 26, of 17110 Simmental Lane, Round Hill, on one count each of assault and battery of a law enforcement officer and driving under the influence on May 13.

* Brandon Dwayne Blye, 23, of 507 Highland Ave., Winchester, on two counts each of abduction with intent to extort and use of a firearm while committing abduction on Sept. 11, 2007.

* James Michael Brown Sr. 23, of 105 April Ave., Stephens City, on three counts of breaking and entering and four counts of grand larceny, all between Oct. 23 and Nov. 26, 2007.

* Laura Leigh Buettner, 32, of 1626 Meadow Branch Ave., Winchester, on one count each of attempted breaking and entering and felony destruction of property on June 13.

* Jamie Lynn Crawford, 26, of 532 Smithfield Ave., Winchester, on one count each of breaking and entering, grand larceny and possession of morphine on July 15.

* Brian Robert Furgison, 38, of HC 1, Richmond Road, Augusta, W.Va., on one count each of felony eluding police, assaulting a law enforcement officer and driving while under the influence on July 26.

* Svetlana Hare, 38, of 208 Combe Drive, Winchester, on two counts of embezzlement on Jan. 29.

* Anthony Herald, 43, of 140 Dowell J. Circle, Winchester, on one count of distributing cocaine on June 4.

* Harrison Blaine Helms, 18, of 101 Arrowhead Trail, Winchester, on one count each of breaking and entering, grand larceny and misdemeanor destruction of property on July 5.

* Bobbie Jo Hillyard, 40, of 1007 Hudson Hollow Road, Stephens City, on one count each of possession of cocaine and possession of alprazolam on June 21.

* Mark Preston Johnson, 21, of 7601 Main St., Middletown, on one count of raping a female child under the age of 18 on July 26.

* Jason Edward Kirby, 22, of 506 Darrview St., Winchester, on one count of grand larceny on July 8.

* Dennis Craig Nail, III, 20, of 167 Bryarly Road, Winchester on one count of grand larceny on July 8.

* Zachary Charles Rinn, 25, of 5372 Northwestern Pike, Gore, on one count each of attempted breaking and entering and felony destruction of property on June 13.
