The Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce and the towns of Strasburg, Woodstock, Edinburg and Mount Jackson are partnering with People Inc., the Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center and Shenandoah County Tourism to develop a program designed to support small businesses throughout Shenandoah County. The RevUp Marketing program is being modeled after the RevUp Strasburg competition that took place last year.
Enrollees will take classes once per week and then compete for money and prizes through a business plan and pitch night. The courses will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday beginning Sept. 6 for six weeks in the Emergency Operations Center room (Door 14) of the Shenandoah County Government Complex, 600 N. Main St., Woodstock.
Sept. 1 is the deadline to enter the competition. Information: 459-2542 or visit www.ShenandoahCountyChamber.com/revup.
