Village at Orchard Ridge
Janie Dickens-Bowman has been named volunteer coordinator at the Village at Orchard Ridge, a national Lutheran community near Winchester.
The Winchester resident joins the organization after a diverse career consisting of marketing and sales promotion for Rubbermaid Commercial Products, managing a public relations and marketing communications consulting business, and most recently working in financial services and management with First Bank.
She has served as vice chair of the Winchester-Frederick County Economic Development Commission and chair of the Winchester Medical Center Foundation Pink Ribbon committee. She has held various positions on boards and committees that include Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity of Winchester-Frederick County, Healthy Families, Laurel Center, Powhatan School and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
She will manage and develop all volunteer services within the community as well as oversee outreach services to and from the greater Winchester-Frederick County area.
