Kerri Lane Studio
Kerri Lane Studio will host a photography show “Depression, You are Not Alone” from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the newly relocated Hideaway Café at 141 S. Loudoun Street, Winchester.
The show, which features artwork and written stories, will cover topics of depression, cutting and overdoses. Due to the nature of the images, this event is not recommended for young children.
Two professionals will volunteer their time to help answer questions: Alida D. Gibson, a licensed clinical professional counselor and member of the psychology faculty at Shenandoah University; and Christine Langley-Obaugh, owner and psychotherapist at The Stress Reduction Spot, LLC.

Art in the Valley
Art in the Valley, a fine art gallery and studio at 205-A E. Main St., Front Royal, will hold its grand opening from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.
The opening exhibit will highlight the works of 12 contemporary artists including Matthew Montgomery, Fian Arroyo, Melissa Moss, local photographers Jordan Long, Sarah Hart Morgan and Scott Turnmeyer, woodturnings by Tony De Masi, jewelry by Priscilla Fritsch and Annie Waters, ceramic artist Theresa Buchanan and gallery owners Michael and Tiffany Budzisz.
