Construction fraud charges dismissed

A Shenandoah County grand jury opted not to indict a Front Royal man Thursday who was accused of failing to perform construction after receiving payment.

Keith Ellis Dodson, 37, did not receive a true bill finding, meaning the jury did not find reasonable evidence to believe he committed the crimes several Shenandoah County residents accused him of.

In this instance, Dodson’s charges date back to two incidents that occurred on March 22.

However, this is not the first time Dodson has been accused of failing to perform construction he was paid for. At a different grand jury hearing in November, the jury did not find enough evidence to indict Dodson on charges dating back to an April 4 accusation.

According to the Shenandoah County Circuit Court database, Dodson has no more outstanding charges for adjudication.
