Woodstock Receives New Ladder Truck

Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department firefighter Zach Hottle takes a closer look at the department's new 2017 Smeal Ladder Truck outside the old Woodstock High School on Thursday uring a training session. The new truck has numerous safety features including sensors that will alarm the operator when the ladder is too close to a potential hazard. A dedication ceremony open to the public will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the fire hall. West Court Street will be closed from Main to Muhlenberg Streets for the event. Rich Cooley/Daily
