Front Royal man charged in diner break-in
Front Royal police on Monday charged a 20-year-old Front Royal man in a recent break-in of the Front Royal Diner.
Johnathon Shane Jenkins was charged with burglary and misdemeanor petit larceny in the theft of money of less than $200 from the diner, said Sgt. Jason Winner.
Jenkins was a former employee of the diner, Winner said, adding that the money was not recovered.
Jenkins was already at the Rappahannock- Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail on unrelated charges of unauthorized possession of drug paraphernalia and public swearing/intoxication when he was charged with the diner break-in.
The arrest on the drug paraphernalia charge stemmed from a traffic stop on May 26. Jenkins was found with paraphernalia on his person, Winner said.
