Kristin Marie Schmiedeknecht and Nathan Ray Toman

Donna Schmiedeknecht of Front Royal has announced the engagement of her daughter Kristin Marie, to Nathan Ray Toman of Strasburg.

The bride-to-be's parents are Donna Schmiedeknecht of Front Royal and Randy Schmiedeknecht of Davis, W.Va., and her grandparents are David and the late Marie Schmiedeknecht of Front Royal and the late Joseph and Wilma Hough, of Paris, Va. The groom-to-be's parents are George "Moose" and Evelin Toman of Strasburg, and his grandparents are the late Lewis Grandstaff and Margot and Dalton Hepner, all of Strasburg, and the late Houston Sr. and Sarah Toman of Fort Valley.

Schmiedeknecht is a 2001 graduate of Mountain View Christian Academy and currently works at Fauquier Hospital. Toman is a 2001 graduate of Strasburg High School and works for Conway Freight.

The wedding date is planned for June 15.
