Wakefield sixth grader earns spot in honor choir

Wakefield Country Day School sixth grader Rachel Cieplak has been chosen to be a member of the 2012 American Choral Directors Association Virginia Middle School Honor Choir.

She auditioned along with about 700 other middle school students and was one of the very few selected to be in the choir. She will go to Mechanicsville in late April for rehearsals and a concert there.

She will be among the soprano 1 singers in the choir.

Wakefield sixth grader Brooke Miller also auditioned for the choir.
