S.U. to participate in Holocaust Remembrance Day

As part of the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day, Shenandoah University in Winchester will hold a special program and reading of the names of Holocaust victims on April 7. The special program will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. and the reading of the names will occur from 6 to 7 p.m. Both events will be held in Goodson Chapel/Recital Hall.

Rabbi Scott Sperling from Winchester's Beth El Congregation will give the keynote address during the special program, which will include musical performances and testimonies. The event is free and open to the public, and all attendees are invited to help read aloud the names of the victims. Reading time is approximately five minutes per person.
