Amanda Theall, a senior at Shenandoah University, led the indoor track and field teams on Feb. 22, at the 2013 ODAC Championships, with one win and one runner-up performance. Theall, coming off of a double-championship performance the previous week at the Mason-Dixon Indoor Championships, won the weight throw and was second on the shot put. The women's team won sixth-place at the meet and had 29 points to finish 12 points behind fifth-place Virginia Wesleyan.
Theall opened her day with the win in the weight, throwing it 15.11 meters, to win her second straight ODAC title in the event. She then had a toss of 11.34 meters in the shot to post the second place showing. Freshman Breana Hagwood also had a runner-up finish at the meet, finishing second in the 60-meter high hurdles with a school record time of 9.42 seconds. Senior Jaclyn Mohlmann also qualified for the finals in the 60-meter high hurdles and finished sixth at 9.66 seconds. On the men's side, junior Evan Griffin was sixth in the shot put. His team took eighth overall.
The teams now transition to the outdoor portion of the schedule with the initial outdoor meet coming on Saturday at Salisbury.
