Women Harriers earn academic honor

The Shenandoah University women's cross country team earned All-Academic team honors in selections announced on Feb. 22, by the USTFCCCA. Shenandoah was one of six ODAC schools, and one of 197 DIII institutions overall, to be honored for having at least a 3.10 cumulative GPA.

The Hornets, who had all seven women earn Athletic Director's List (3.0 GPA) honors for the fall 2012 semester, had a 3.59 cumulative GPA. That was good for second overall among the six ODAC institutions. Eastern Mennonite led the nation at 3.76. This is the fifth straight year that the Shenandoah women have earned this accolade.
