The sixth grade class at Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly recently planted 1,000 shortleaf pine trees on the neighboring Windsor Farm in Huntly. The activity is a service field trip that this particular class conducts every year.

The seedlings are donated or are purchased by the class with funds from their charity fundraising efforts. The class is led by teachers Margaret DiDomenico and Jeff Perry.
