Alecia Mae Frederick and Jason Michael Powell were married Feb. 9 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Amanda Frederick of Jacksonville. The groom is the son of David and Cindy Powell of Toms Brook.
The Rev. Derrick Scott III performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Anna Frederick, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amelia, Abigail and Audra Frederick, sisters of the bride; Cassandra Hawkins, cousin of the bride; Laura Horne, friend of the bride; and Jackie Frederick, sister-in-law to the bride.
The best man was Brett Mather, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were Nicholas Funk, Ryan Koubek, Michael Thompson and Ryan Hanks, friends of the groom; and Adam and Aaron Frederick, brothers of the bride.
A reception followed the wedding ceremony at the church social hall.
The bride is a 2007 home school graduate and a 2010 graduate of Florida State College at Jacksonville. She is a registered nurse, currently employed in Jacksonville.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Central High School, and a 2008 graduate of Virginia Tech, College of Engineering. He is currently an Aerospace Engineer for Naval Air Systems Command in Jacksonville, Fla.
Following a wedding trip to Ireland, the couple is living in Jacksonville.
