Exhibit at Westminster-Canterbury to feature regional artists

The Lawrence Gallery, on the main floor of Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury will host an opening of the exhibit Art from Our Attic, featuring pieces from the retirement community's collection. The pieces will be offered to the public at auction prices.

Art from Our Attic will be presented in two parts, with a month-long, silent auction for each part.

Part 1 takes place through July 26 and will feature paintings and prints by regional artists, including Alfred Lupton, Mark Miller, Radford Wine and Andrew Wyeth.

Part 2 will be held from Aug. 1 through Sept. 6 and includes fine prints and potpourri including Guild, Turner, Monet and Lorrain. That opening reception will take place on Thursday, August 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
