Flint Hill graduates plan to attend universities this fall

The following Flint Hill residents, who graduated from Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly on June 1, plan to attend college in the fall:

Alexandra Cancio-Bello will attend the College of William and Mary. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Advanced Classical Diploma. Cancio-Bello was the female Athlete of the Month for April and she was voted to the All-Conference First Team in Volleyball and Soccer. Her senior thesis topic was Sex Slavery in the Commonwealth of Virginia: An Investigation of the Crime in Our Area and a Call for Action.

Marc Cugnon will attend Yale University. The Class salutatorian graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Advanced Classical Diploma. Cugnon was voted to the All-Conference First Team in soccer. His senior thesis topic was Pride Cometh before the Fall: The Impact of Individual and National Pride on the Rise and Fall of Empires, Cultural Institutions and Governments in Peloponnesian War Era Greece and the Late Roman Republic.
