The Kiwanis Club of Front Royal is delighted to announce the award of a total of $2,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Skyline High School and Warren County High School.
At Warren County High, Kiwanis awarded a $1,250 scholarship to Andrew Bush. In addition to experiencing classroom success, Bush was involved in a number of school activities, including acting as the school's "wildcat" mascot. Bush plans to attend Ferrum College this fall.
At Skyline High School, two graduates split $1,250 in Kiwanis scholarship money.
Ashleigh Stiles and Amanda Bates each received $625 scholarships. Both students plan to attend Lord Fairfax Community College in the fall. In addition to classroom success, Stiles has served as Key Club president for two years. Likewise, Bates has been an active student and Key Club member at Skyline.
The awards were announced recently by Front Royal Kiwanis President Tom Curry in connection with graduation award ceremonies at both schools.
