Participants at the New Market Area Library adult July program "Get Movin' Get Groovin" learned that exercising is for everyone.
Joyce Yagerline presented the Zumba fitness and yoga program at Zumba Gold, where participants had fun while learning an easy-to-follow program that lets individuals move to the beat at their own speed. The modified low-impact moves and pacing help to create an invigorating work-out that each individual can control. In yoga, participants were introduced to breathing exercises that help to calm the mind and body. They also discovered poses that give increased range of motion, as well as more resiliency, flexibility and strength.
