Toms Brook church to hold moment of silence Sunday

At 4:30 p.m. Sunday the members of the Toms Brook United Methodist Church family will be invited to take a moment of silence to remember the valiant fire crew, the Granite Mountain Hotshots, who were killed after being trapped in the Arizona wildfire last Sunday afternoon. The church community wants to remember the firefighters' families and the town of Prescott, Ariz., as they grieve this tremendous loss. After a minute of silence, Toms Brook UMC will ring the church bells 19 times -- to honor each life given in the line of service.

Pastor Rev. Bob Throckmorton would like to encourage area churches to have a moment of silence and to ring their church bells on at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in remembrance of the Arizona Granite Mountain Hotshots.
