Ashley Lynn Chrisman and Erek Duane Mowbray were married May 4 at Fort Valley Nursery in Woodstock.
The bride is the daughter of David and Nancy Chrisman of Fort Valley. The groom is the son of Chet and Karen Mowbray of Elkton and Jimmy and Lisa Junkins of Broadway.
The Pastor Jonathan Fletcher performed the double-ring ceremony.
Escorted by her father and shared in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory trumpet-style gown with sweetheart neckline and plum sash. Her hair piece was an ivory flower fascinator given to her by her matron of honor.
The matron of honor was Sabrina Haller of Salt Lake City, sister of the bride. She wore a plum knee length sleeveless dress with tiered skirt.
The bridesmaid was Chastity Harris of Woodstock, cousin of the bride. She wore a plum knee length a-line dress with cap sleeves.
Caden, Macy and Makayla Harris of Woodstock, cousins of the bride also participated in the ceremony.
The best man was Kyle Alger of Grottoes, friend of the groom. The groomsman was Michael Bragg of Weyers Cave, friend of the groom.
A reception followed.
The bride, a 2005 graduate of Central High School is employed by Green Meadows Veterinary Service in Elkton.
The groom, a 2004 graduate of Spotswood High School is employed by Packaging Corporation of America in Harrisonburg.
Following a cruise to the Bahamas the couple will live in Elkton.
