The Shenandoah County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension has announced the 4-H/FFA beef show results.
In the category of 4-H/FFA beef showmanship, Walker Bowman won novice champion, Lindsey Zirkle won novice reserve champion, Tiffany Heishman won junior champion, Jacob Coffey won junior reserve champion, Nicole D. Kibler won senior champion and Garrett Coffey won senior reserve champion.
Kibler was name grand champion beef showman, and Heishman was named reserve grand champion beef showman.
In the 4-H/FFA steer show, Kyle Lutz had the champion light-weight market steer, Bethany Gochenour had the reserve champion light-weight market steer, Nicole D. Kibler had the champion medium-weight market steer, Heishman the reserve champion medium-weight market steer, Jenna Kibler the champion heavy-weight market steer and Andrew Rhodes the reserve champion heavy-weight market steer.
Nicole D. Kibler had the grand champion market steer and Heishman had the reserve grand champion market steer.
In the 4-H/FFA heifer show, Ethan Neff had the champion Angus heifer, Elizabeth Funkhouser had the reserve champion Angus heifer, Tyler Wakeman had the champion Charolais heifer, Bethany Gochenour had the champion Maine Anjou heifer, Luke Whitacre had the champion commercial heifer, Ethan Gochenour had the reserve champion reserve champion commercial heifer and the champion bred and owned heifer, and Tracy Barb had the reserve champion bred and owned heifer.
Whitacre had the grand champion breeding heifer and Ethan Gochenour had the reserve grand champion breeding heifer.
Tyler Wakeman had the champion Charolais cow and calf pair and Tracy Barb the champion commercial cow and calf pair. Caleb Fredman had the reserve champion commercial cow and calf pair and Garrett Coffey the champion Hereford cow and calf pair.
Tyler Wakeman had the grand champion cow and calf pair and Garrett Coffey the reserve grand champion cow and calf pair.
Jacob Coffey had the champion Hereford bull and the grand champion bred and owned bull.
