Menu -- Shenandoah schools
Monday: Chili Con Carne with cornbread (or, for grades 6-12, hamburger on wheat bun), steamed rice, tossed salad, hot spiced apples, orange juice and a mango. Tuesday: Beef taco with meat sauce and lettuce, tomato and cheese (or, for grades 6-12, toasted cheese sandwich), black beans, corn, peaches, mixed fruit and a cinnamon roll. Wednesday: Sloppy Joe with pickle chips (or, for grades 6-12, spiced chicken patty on a wheat bun), Romaine lettuce with tomato and carrots, apple wedges and a banana. Thursday: Chicken fajita wrap (or, for grades 6-12, pizza), sweet potato fries, green beans, apple and grapes. Friday: Diced chicken barbecue on a wheat bun (or, for grades 6-12, steak-um on wheat bun), baked beans, coleslaw, apple juice and an apple.
