EMS Council to offer free CPR classes

The Lord Fairfax EMS Council has announced it will offer one free Friends and Family CPR class once a month through April 2014 to the first 10 registrants. The class is ideal for members of the community who would like to learn CPR for all age groups, how to use an AED and how to assist someone that is choking, but who does not require a certification card.

Students will practice performing CPR on manikins and each student will receive a booklet detailing all information covered in class. The class takes 2.5 hours to complete.

Classes will be: from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 22, Dec. 20, Jan 22, Feb. 24, March 20 and April 21.

Sign up for the free class or any other class at www.lfems.vaems.org or call 540-665-0014.
