New Market library financial program a success

The New Market Area Library hosted an adult program recently called Weathering the Current Financial Market. The guest speakers were regional manager Neil Sutton of Lord Abbett's Private Wealth Group, and Jerry Biller of Edward Jones Investments in Luray, who presented an overview of the current financial market for 2013, influencers and financial strategies. They presented a history of the financial market over the last 40 years, and answered questions about protecting assets in a constantly fluctuating economy.

Adult programs are held monthly at the New Market Area Library under the direction of Beverly Butterfield and Bonnie Flick, volunteer adult program coordinators. For more information, call Beverly Butterfield at 540-335-5396 or email at bbutterfield@gmail.com for more information about the program. All programs are free and do not require pre-registration.
