Joanna Marie Haun and Stephen Gregory Meadows, both of Toms Brook, were united in marriage July 5, also the date of Haun's 25th birthday. The wedding location was at St. John's United Church of Christ Harrisville in Toms Brook.
The bride is the daughter of Crista Ann Haun, deceased, and Rickey Lee Haun of Mount Jackson. Pastor Joe Allen Fleming performed the double ring ceremony. Robyn Racey was the pianist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless gown and royal blue sash.
Katherine Ann Haun of Edinburg was the matron of honor for her sister. Wayne Monse of Strasburg was the best man for his brother-in-law.
Following the wedding ceremony, the party visited Crista Haun's grave in memory of the mother of the bride, who passed April 3. They laid red roses on her grave, and Fleming said a prayer. The celebration was both sad and happy, but family and friends gave their support to the bride and her sister.
A reception was given by Laura Racey and the father of the bride. Pre-nuptial entertainment included a bridal shower hosted by Patricia and Art Noir, aunt and uncle of the bride.
Following a honeymoon to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple are living in Edinburg.
