WCDS students perform tale of Robin Hood
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly has announced its students recently performed "The Mostly True Tale of Robin Hood," a Monty Pythonesque take on the history of the adventures of Robin Hood and his Merry Men, directed by WCDS teacher Kirsten Youngquist.
In the story, Gray Galeone as the despicable Prince John and Chris Payne as the Sheriff of Nottingham did all they could to thwart the efforts of Robin to win back the taxes owed to the poor, win the hand of the Lady Marion, played by Madison Romine, and save England for the king.
Robin was assisted by his Merry Men and the dependable sage, The Towns-gal, played by Rachel Paulisch. The technical director was Bernie Cieplak.
