The Shenandoah Community Foundation recently announced the recipients of its 2013/14 grants cycle.
Each year the foundation supports area charities as part of its unrestricted grants program, foundation President Jeff Dalke said in a recent news release.
He said the foundation awarded more than $47,000 this year with the generosity of Woodstock Anonymous.
A reception will be held on May 21 at the Edinburg Mill for grant recipients, fund sponsors and local community leaders.
The following organizations received funding in amounts ranging from $500 to $7,500:
