Wakefield students earn awards at national Latin convention

The 22 students earned 145 awards during the convention, according to a news release from the school. comments

Kiwanis flag project underway

The Kiwanis Club of Strasburg will be collecting worn/torn U.S. flags as a community service project of the club. The public is encouraged to take damaged flags to the HL Borden Store, located at 385 E. King St., Strasburg, and the Kiwanis Club will pick up and deliver them to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Posts for proper disposal by the Boy Scouts.
